Simon, Rebecca and their two sons have lived in Wakefield for over 8 years.
Simon made his first knife over 20 years ago, and has a keen interest in the traditional skills used by craftsmen over the generations. ‘Make a Knife’ is a result of wanting to share his skills and interests in both a practical and enjoyable way.
Simon is a practical man – he has run his own carpentry, joinery and building business for over 20 years. With a passion for the great outdoors Simon has an array of skills and experience to offer.
“Make a Knife” is situated at Higgins Park, just outside the village of Wakefield. Higgins Park comprises of several small museums that are relevant to the local area. As part of the “Make a Knife” activity, you are welcome to make the most of the facilities at Higgins Park.
